Akeu and Chepya are a Loloish language mainly of China, with smaller numbers in Burma, Laos, and Thailand.

Distribution

Akeu (Ake 阿克; autonym: Gouke 勾克) is spoken in the following locations of Yunnan (You 2013:172).[4] The Akeu migrated from Mojiang County to the Sipsongpanna area 8 generations ago (about 300 years ago).

  • Ganlanba 橄榄坝, Menghan District 勐罕区, Jinghong City
  • Menglong District 勐竜区, Jinghong City
  • Sanda Township 三达乡, Jinghong City
  • Menghai County 勐海县, Yiwu County 易武县
