The 1999–2000 New York Knicks season was the 53rd season of NBA basketball in New York City, New York.[1] The Knicks finished second in the Atlantic Division with a 50-32 record. In the playoffs, the Knicks swept the Toronto Raptors in the first round, then they defeated the Miami Heat in the semifinals, but would lose six games to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. This was also Patrick Ewing's final year with the Knicks, as he was traded to the Seattle SuperSonics the following season. Allan Houston was selected to play in the 2000 NBA All-Star Game.
