ZWCAD Software
ZWCAD Software Co., Ltd (short name ZWSOFT) is a CAD/CAM software provider with headquarters in Guangzhou, China. Its main business is to develop computer-aided design software products for 2D and 3D design use, and it began doing overseas business in 2004.[1] The company serves 555,000 users globally.
It was founded in 1998 as Guangzhou Chinaweal Longteng Technology Co., Ltd. and changed the name to "ZWCAD Software Co., Ltd"[2] in 2007. In the same year, the company became a founding member of the Open Design Alliance (ODA).[3] It has three R&D centres, separately located in Guangzhou, Wuhan and Melbourne, Florida (USA).
Product lines
ZWCAD is a popular 2D/3D CAD tool for the AEC, mechanical design, manufacturing, and GIS industries. It offers a strong feature set, fast performance on large designs, support of standards, and affordability.
ZWCAD Mechanical is CAD software for manufacturing. It includes libraries of standard parts and mechanical tools for design and drafting. It supports ISO, ANSI, DIN, JIS, and GB drafting environments.
CAD Pockets is a free mobile CAD app for viewing, reviewing, and creating CAD drawings from iOS devices.
ZWCAD Viewer is a free CAD viewer for DWG file viewing and plotting.
ZW3D is an integrated 3D CAD/CAM solution designed for the complete product development process, non-solid mold parting, and smart CNC Machining tactics from 2 axis to 5 axis. It offers unified 3D modeling (solid/surface/direct) for extremely flexible design, a full toolset for manufacturing, support of industry standards, and affordability. Customer benefits include reduced costs, optimized design workflow and improved efficiency. It is based on technology acquired from VX Corporation.[4]
ZW3D versions: Lite, Standard, Professional, Premium, 2 Axis Machining, 3 Axis Machining (add-on), 4-5 Axis Machining (add on).[5]
