Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, Yorkville University is an accredited,[1] private, non-denominational university, specializing in online university degree programs. Yorkville University was established in 2003 under the New Brunswick Degree Granting Act, and began accepting students in the fall of 2004.[2]
Yorkville University currently offers a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Education in Adult Education. The President of Yorkville University is Dr. Rick Davey, former President of the Ontario wing of Devry University and is also the current President of RCC Institute of Technology in Toronto.
In August 2015, Yorkville University received consent from the Ministry of Advanced Education in British Columbia to expand into that province offering a Bachelor of Business Administration with specializations in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Energy Management.
