XHI-TDT virtual channel 2 is a television station licensed to Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico. An owned and operated affiliate of the regional Televisoras Grupo Pacífico network, XHI-TV is affiliated with Televisa, featuring programming from FOROtv and Gala TV. XHI-TDT serves southern Sonora and northern Sinaloa.

The station was founded by Televisora del Yaqui, S.A. de C.V., on August 30, 1965 by the Azcárraga and Sáenz family. Its transmitter was originally located next to the studios and measured 200 m (656 ft) high and weighing 60 tonnes (66 short tons) just to cover most of the city. The antenna was destroyed in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Kirsten on September 28, 1966; fortunately, there were no technical damages, which allowed the resumption of broadcasting days later with a temporary antenna.

In 1968, XHI-TV relocated its transmitter to Yucuribampo Hill to improve coverage and quality of the signal. In 1972, the station relocated to its present studios on Miguel Alemán Avenue in Ciudad Obregón. In 1988, the Los Mochis station took to air.

XHI also has licensed repeater stations in Los Mochis (channel 2) and Empalme/Guaymas (channel 34). Both of these stations, especially Los Mochis, have significant local production not seen in Ciudad Obregón.

Programming

XHI's stations in Obregón and Mochis produce substantial local programming; while the latter is licensed as a repeater, it is treated by Televisoras Grupo Pacífico as a separate station. The local programming includes news, lifestyle shows and sports programming.

XHI also airs programming from Televisa's FOROtv and Gala TV networks.
