WorkLenz is a web based project portfolio management application with no active controls and no persistent cookies published by Métier.[1] Métier's software is built on the .NET framework and is available in two delivery methods: self-hosted or software-as-a-service (SaaS). WorkLenz enables the select, control and evaluate process for enterprise wide projects and investments.[2]

Project Portfolio Management Software

Métier's project portfolio management software (formerly known as PPM Central) was released in November 2011 as the next generation of the WorkLenz software.[3] It uses the latest HTML5 technology.

Métier's software interface is search-based. Users can navigate the system by searching for work, tools, resources, reports, templates and documents.

The Taxonomy tool is an additional functionality, which allows users to explore and navigate their portfolio. The taxonomic structure provides a method for analyzing and reporting on organizational big data. The integrated toolset allows users to derive reports at all levels of the Taxonomy.[4]

In the June 2012 publication Métier Pioneers Semantic Portfolio Management, third party analyst Enterprise Management Associates detailed how Métier is using natural language processing to improve project and project portfolio management.[5]
