The Traditionalist Youth Network (TYN) is both a registered political party and an organization. There are hundreds of members and supporters spread out across the United States and other countries as well. There are active chapters of activists in South Africa, Uruguay, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Arizona, California, Indiana, and Kentucky.[1] The majority of members are that of the white working class, but the party has gained support from leaders in the African American community as well, due to the fact that both groups work to achieve similar goals regarding nationalism.[2]
TYN seeks to defend tradition against progressivism and opposes decadence, individualism, Marxism, and Modernity.[3]
Matthew Heimbach is a well known pillar of the TYN community. He founded the White Student Union (Towson University) in Towson, Maryland. Since his graduation in the Spring of 2013, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) have labeled him the new face of Nationalism.[4]
