Spain was represented by Patricia Kraus at the Eurovision Song Contest 1987, held in Brussels, Belgium. Kraus was selected internally by Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest in Belgium with the song "No estás solo".
At Eurovision
Kraus performed 9th on the night of the contest, following Portugal and preceding Turkey. At the close of the voting the song had received 10 points, placing 19th in a field of 22.
