South Lyon Community Schools

South Lyon City and School Administration Building

South Lyon Community Schools is an accredited public school district in Oakland County, Michigan. It serves 83 square miles (210 km²) including Lyon Township, the City of South Lyon, Green Oak, and Salem Township.^{[citation needed]} It also serves portions of Novi.^[1] The school district was originally created in 1876.
