The 1902 South Dakota gubernatorial election was held on November 4, 1902, to elect a Governor of South Dakota to a two-year term. Republican incumbent Governor of South Dakota Charles N. Herreid was re-elected, defeating Democratic nominee John W. Martin, Socialist Party candidate John C. Crawford, and Prohibition Party candidate H. H. Curtis.
