Soho Synagogue is a "hipster" synagogue located in SoHo, a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York.[1][2] On September 15, 2009, The SoHo Synagogue signed a 7-year lease for the ground floor of 43 Crosby Street, located between Spring and Broome Streets. Designer Dror Benshetrit designed the synagogue space.[3]

The SoHo Synagogue was founded in 2005 by Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Dovi Scheiner and his wife Esty. Rabbi Scheiner is the brother of Rabbi Pesach Scheiner, leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch of Boulder,[4] Colorado,[5] and Rabbi Moshe Scheiner of the Palm Beach Synagogue.[6]
