Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. AM4 is an upcoming socket from AMD for future Zen-based CPUs.[1] It will be the first from AMD to support DDR4-compatible memory as well as retain unified compatibility between high-end CPUs and AMD's lower-end APUs.[2][3] As of June 2015, AMD products roadmaps point to AM4 instead of the previously expected FM3 socket.[4] It has also been reported by a manufacturer that Socket AM2 and Socket AM3 compatible coolers will also work for the AM4 socketed CPUs and APUs.[5]
