The Scottish National League (currently named the BT National League for sponsorship reasons) is an amateur league competition for rugby union clubs in Scotland. It forms the 2nd tier of the Scottish League Championship.

The league's winner is automatically promoted to the top tier of Scottish league rugby (The BT Premier Division) and the runner-up is entered into a play-off with the 2nd bottom team from the RBS Premier Division. The league's bottom 2 clubs are relegated down into either the East and West Championship Leagues depending on their geographical location, with the Champions of East and West being promoted to replace them.
