Saša Dončić (born June 14, 1974 in Šempeter pri Gorici, SFR Yugoslavia) is a retired Slovenian professional basketball player. He played in several clubs in his country and also in Serbia and France. He played mostly as small forward. Currently he works as coach.[1] His son Luka, who's also a basketball player, currently plays for Real Madrid.

National team

Dončić was a member of the Yugoslavia cadets team in 1991 FIBA Europe U16 Championship. In 2004 he played two games for the Slovenia national team at FIBA EuroBasket 2005 qualification.
