Ronald Leon Rakow or Ron Rakow was the head of now defunct Grateful Dead Records and band manager.[1][2] He allegedly ripped the band off for $225,000. When confronted by Lesh and Garcia he told them to go "fuck themselves" he had cut himself a check for "what he was owed" and then left.[3] In 2005 he was incarcerated for a period of five years in prison for tax evasion of 2.2 million dollars since 1985.[4][5]'
