Romany Bain

Romany Bain (22 March 1924 – 29 March 2015) was a British journalist and show business interviewer.[1] In the 1960s and 1970s, she worked as a feature writer for She magazine, and the Daily Mail.[1]

From 1948 to 1962, she was married to the theatre critic and biographer Kenneth Bain, who used the pen-name Richard Findlater, with whom she had four children. She subsequently married the jazz bandleader Tommy Watt, with whom she had a son, the musician Ben Watt.[2]
