Qaradağ Lökbatan FK (Azerbaijani: Qaradağ Lökbatan Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Lökbatan.[1]

History

The club was established in 2009 under the name of Neftchi-ISM as an Neftchi Baku's reserve team and played in Azerbaijan First Division. However, reserve teams cannot play in the same division as their senior team and therefore the club was ineligible for promotion to the Azerbaijan Premier League. In 2011, club became independent from Neftchi in 2011 and renamed to Qaradağ Lökbatan FK, which will allow them to participate in Premier League if they secure promotion in First Division.[2]

On 10 April 2012, the club sealed promotion to Azerbaijan Premier League after winning first division.[3] However, due decision of Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan about licensing, club did not promoted to the Premier league.[4][5]
