Pudhcha Paaul is an Indian Marathi Soap opera that aired on Star Pravah.[1] It is the remake of Hindi serial Saath Nibhaana Saathiya of Star Plus. It premiered on 2 May 2011 and ended on 30 June 2017 with 1943 episodes[2]. It is the longest ran television serial of Marathi. [3]It was directed by Harshad Paranjape and Kedar Vaidya.
Plot
Kalyani, a simple naive girl, gets married to the Sardeshmukh family where she develops a bitter-sweet relation with her mother-in-law Rajlaxmi, the stern matrich of the family, who makes Kalyani dance to her tunes. Eventually, Rajlaxmi turns mentor to Kalyani.
