A pigmented spindle cell nevus (also known as a "Pigmented spindle cell tumor of Reed,"[1] and "Pigmented variant of Spitz nevus"[1]) is a cutaneous condition characterized by a dark brown to black macule or papule, usually less than 6 mm.[1]
It was characterized in 1975.[2][3]
