Parno Mittra (or sometimes misspelled as Parno Mitra born 31 October 1989)[1] is a Bengali film and television actress.[2][3][4] She is from Kolkata, came into prominence with her 2011 Bengali film Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona directed by Anjan Dutt.
Early life
Mittra was born on 31 October in Kolkata, 1989. She was a student of Pratt Memorial School, Kolkata. She completed her English (honours) graduation[1] from University of Calcutta.[5][6]
Career
Mittra started her career as an actress in television. Her debut movie was Raja Rani Badsha in the year of 1998.[citation needed] She worked in few television serials such as Khela and Mohona in Zee Bangla.[5] In 2011 she made her debut in the film Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona and she won Star Guide Awards and Zee Gaurav Awards for her performance in this film.[7] In 2012 she acted in the film Bedroom which was a commercial success.[4]
