Norton Township is one of seventeen townships in Kankakee County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 978 and it contained 400 housing units.[1] Norton Township was organized in 1857 out of Essex Township.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 49.78 square miles (128.9 km2), all land.[1]
