Marie-Anne Day Walker-Pelletier

Marie-Anne Day Walker-Pelletier is the Chief of the Okanese First Nation.[1][2][3] In June 2008 Canwest described Walker-Pelletier as "the longest-serving female chief in Saskatchewan". Walker-Pelletier became Chief in 1981.

In July 2001 Walker-Pelletier was host of a healing conference included native leaders from across Canada.[2]

In 2005 Walker-Pelletier was Chair of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations.[4]
