María Belén is a Mexican children's telenovela produced by Mapat L. de Zatarain for Televisa in 2001.[1]
On August 13, 2001, Canal de las Estrellas started broadcasting María Belén weekdays at 4:00pm, replacing Aventuras en el tiempo. The last episode was broadcast on December 14, 2001 with Navidad sin fin replacing it the following day.
Nora Salinas and René Laván starred as adult protagonists, Danna Paola starred as child protagonist, while Maya Mishalska starred as main antagonist.

Plot
María Belén is a story of an adorable six-year-old girl who recently lost her adoptive parents in an accident. The girl left alone, by his uncle Rogelio an ambitious and wicked man, who planned the death of his half-brother Alfonso and his sister Patricia, Maria Belen dads, to be able to meet with their heritage.
But what Rogelio did not expect was that Maria Belen would survive the accident, leaving her as the sole heir to the property of the family García Pineda. To get rid of the girl, Rogelio internal Maria Belen in a school.
