Mailliard is a former settlement in Marin County, California.[1] It was located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 8 miles (13 km) south-southwest of downtown Novato,[2] at an elevation of 436 feet (133 m), in part of what is now Woodacre, in the San Geronimo Valley.[1] Mailliard still appeared on maps as of 1914.[1] The settlement was named after Adolph Mailliard, who settled there in 1868 with his wife Ann Eliza Ward to establish San Geronimo Ranch, where they bred horses.[3]
