Dr. S.E.M. László Trócsányi (born Budapest, 6 March 1956) is a Hungarian lawyer, former judge, a diplomat and university professor. He specializes in constitutional law, European law and comparative law. He was Hungarian Ambassador to Belgium (2000-2004), Ambassador of Hungary to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (2000-2003) and Hungarian Ambassador to France (2010-2014).[1][2] He was also a member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (2005-2013) and a member of the Hungarian Constitutional Court (2007-2010). On 6 June 2014, he was appointed Minister of Justice in Hungary.[3][4]
