Kuki (久喜市 Kuki-shi?) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on October 1, 1971.
As of May 1, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 156,613, with 61,071 households and the population density of 1,900.64 persons per km². The total area is 82.40 km².
On March 23, 2010, Kuki City absorbed the town of Shōbu (from Minami Saitama District), and the towns of Kurihashi and Washimiya (both from Kitakatsushika District) to create the current and expanded Kuki City.[1]
