Krishan Pal Gurjar is an Indian politician and a member of parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha representing the Fariabad constituency in the state of Haryana.[citation needed] He won his seat in the Indian general election, 2014 as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate by margin of 466873 vote. He is now a Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment.[1] He was minister for transport in Bansi Lal led Government of Haryana from 1996-99.[citation needed] He also served as bjp state president for Haryana.[when?][citation needed]
Biography
Krishan Pal Gurjar was born in Mewla Maharajpur, Faridabad, Haryana on 4 February 1957 to Hans Raj Zaildar. He completed his graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru College in 1978 and got his Law degree from Meerut University.[2]
He won the Corporation Councilor election in 1994 as a Bhartiya Janta Party candidate and became the party's State Minister. He became the Member of Legislative Assembly of Haryana for Mewla Maharajpur Constituency in 1996.[2]
