Chronology
Predecessor Kia Soul (1st generation)

The Kia Venga is a mini MPV produced and designed by the South Korean automakers Kia Motors and Hyundai Motors, having debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show.[1] The Venga is built on the same platform as the Hyundai i20, Hyundai ix20, and Kia Soul. The Kia Venga is the mini MPV currently while Kia moved the Soul to the mini SUV class.

The Kia Venga replaced the 1st generation Kia Soul, and it is currently mini MPV of the manufacturer while the Kia Soul is currently the mini SUV of the manufacturer. The Venga employs Kia's corporate grille, known as the Tiger Nose, as designed by Kia's design chief, Peter Schreyer. In December 2009, the Venga won Germany's iF Design Award.[2]
