Kensington is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters. Unlike the rest of the city, Kensington's streets are laid out diagonally in order to follow Second Creek.

Nearby suburbs Kensington Park and Kensington Gardens are in the City of Burnside.

Marryatville Primary School is a state primary school, located in Kensington. Classes range from Reception to Year 7, with up to 400 students at the school. Most Year 7 students attend Marryatville High School with some students zoned to Norwood/Morialta High School.[2] Mary MacKillop College is a private Catholic girls secondary school located in Kensington.
