Classical 90.7 KVNO analog and 90.7 HD 1 is a radio station broadcast at 8,900 watts from the heart of the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) campus. KVNO's broadcasting license is held by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. The station is a media operations unit of UNO's College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media. It also rebroadcasts the monthly EAS test.
KVNO is licensed by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission to broadcast in the HD (hybrid) format.[1]
Programming
Classical 90.7 KVNO's format is round-the-clock classical music, with six top-of-the-hour newscasts weekdays (6 a.m., 7 a.m., 8 a.m., noon, 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.) The station can be heard on the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications (NET) statewide radio network from 10 p.m. until 5 or 6 a.m. seven days a week. The station broadcasts NET's classical music programming from 1 until 4 p.m. weekdays.
