Jorge José Emiliano dos Santos

Jorge José Emiliano dos Santos (19 March 1954[1] - January 23, 1995[2]) was a Brazilian football referee, known for his flamboyant style. His nickname Margarida (meaning Daisy, in English).[3]

He was born in 1954 in Rio de Janeiro.[2][not in citation given]

He is one of three role models for the character Margarida from referee Clésio Moreira dos Santos on YouTube.

He died on January 23, 1995 from AIDS-related complications.[2]
