Ibn Balkhi

Ibn Balkhi (Persian: ابن بلخی‎‎) is conventional name for author of the Persian book Fārs-Nāma (فارس‌نامه), a history and geography of Fars Province, Persia written during the Saljuq period (12th century). His surname signifies his origin from Balkh, present day Afghanistan.[1]
