In 2015, Hilton Garden Inn received three Hermes Creative Awards winning Platinum, Gold and Honorable mention for Declare Your Own Holiday campaign.
As part of Hilton Worldwide, Hilton’s award-winning digital check-in with room selection tool allows Hilton HHonors members to log into their accounts and choose their exact room from a digital floor plan, as well as customize their room prior to arrival with amenity requests. The service is available for 650,000+ rooms at more than 4,100 properties across 11 brands worldwide.

Property features and guest rooms
Guest room amenities at Hilton Garden Inns include a microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, either a king- or queen-sized bed or two double-sized beds, as well as a sitting area with an ottoman. In addition to standard rooms, some locations also offer deluxe rooms and junior suites.
History
The Hilton Garden Inn brand began in the late 1980s under the name CrestHill by Hilton. Due to a slow real estate phase, only four of 25 proposed hotels were built. Of these four original hotels, three are still part of the chain today. They are located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Southfield, Michigan and Valencia, California. The other hotel, located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois is now a Wyndham Garden Hotel. The brand was reintroduced in 1996 as Hilton Garden Inn and has grown from four hotels to more than 625 properties in about 20 years.
In 2012 was opened the first Hilton Garden Inn in Netherlands - Hilton Garden Inn Leiden. It is located on the Old Rhine River, featuring 173 guestrooms and providing all of the brand's signature features.[1]
Future developments
The Hilton Garden Inn brand plans to open properties in Argentina, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, India, Kenya, Ireland and additional locations throughout the United States, Canada, UK, Italy, Germany, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Poland.
Hilton Garden Inn has announced the opening of one of its hotels in the port city of Santa Marta, Colombia by 2016.[2]
