Herbert Klein (born March 25, 1923, in Frankfurt, Germany, died September 25, 2001) was a German swimmer.
He won the 200 Metres Breaststroke at the 1950 European Aquatics Championships in Vienna and in the bronze medal in the 200 Metres Breaststroke at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. He further swam 3 world records and 21 German records.
In 1950 he was elected German Sportspersonality of the year.
