Harold David Goldsmith, known as Hal (July 20, 1930, in Germany – March 13, 2004, in New York, New York) was an American foil and epee fencer.[1] Featured in the CCNY Athletic Hall of Fame since 1970,[2] Goldsmith's victories include the 1952 NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) foil championship [3] and gold and silver medals at the [1] at the Pan American Games in 1951 and 1952.
