EasyRoad is a computer aided design software developed in 2004 by Cadwork Corp in Switzerland in order to aid road designers.
This software (based on Swiss normalisation) is considered to be an add-on to AutoCAD and operates on Microsoft Windows NT. It helps to facilitate the design of roads, Motorway, railways, junctions and roundabout.
Easyroad files are named with the extension .2dr and are compatible with cadwork road.
Technical Characteristics
EasyRoad takes care of the followings:
- clothoid curves;
- 3 radius curves for railway;
- horizontal and vertical jointures;
- trucks Trajectories;
These tasks are automatically done:
- interface with majors theodolite;
- Earth triangulation with many options;
- Earth movement computation;
- length profiles and profiles automatic;
- junctions and roundabout jointures;
- complex road profiles with bordres, banquettes and devers;
- automatic drawing colorized.
Interface with AutoCAD is guaranteed with DWG format.
Interface with Lexoview is guaranteed with Open Inventor format.
