Douglas dos Santos Justino de Melo (born 22 March 1994), known as Douglas Santos or simply Douglas, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Atlético Mineiro as a left back.

Club career
Náutico
In 2011, after an unsuccessful trial at Corinthians,[1] Douglas was signed by Náutico. A year later, he was called up to first team by manager Waldemar Lemos.
On 15 February 2012, Douglas made his first team debut, in a 2–0 home win over Central.[2] On the 26th, he scored his first professional goal, the second of a 3–1 home win over Belo Jardim.[3]
On 18 July, he made his Série A debut, in a 3–0 home win over Ponte Preta.[4] On 10 October, he scored his first top flight goal, in a 1–2 away defeat against Ponte Preta.[5]
Granada / Udinese
On 12 July 2013, Douglas signed a five-year deal with La Liga side Granada CF, for an undisclosed fee.[6] On 2 September, he joined Udinese Calcio in a season-long loan deal.[7]
Douglas made his Serie A debut on 21 December 2013, starting in a 2–1 away win against A.S. Livorno. He made two further appearances for the club during the campaign, being permanently bought by the club in January 2014.
Atlético Mineiro
On 12 August 2014, Douglas was loaned to Atlético Mineiro for 12 months.[8] He made his debut for the club on 31 August, in a 0–0 draw at Coritiba.
On 20 July 2015, Galo signed Douglas permanently for 3 million euros, under a 4-year contract.[9]
International career
After featuring with the U-20's in 2013 Toulon Tournament, Douglas received a call-up for the full squad on 2 April 2013, for a match against Bolivia.[10] However, he did not leave the bench.[11]
On 13 August 2015, Douglas returned to the senior team, for frendlies against Costa Rica and United States.[12]
