David Kirk (born in Ohio) is the Italian-American creator of the Miss Spider series of children's books published by Scholastic.[1]
The Miss Spider books have been adapted to a children's television show called Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, and a video game called Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends - Harvest Time Hop and Fly.
