Daniel D. "Dan" Kelley (born 1970) is the Iowa State Representative from the 29th District. A Democrat, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2011. Kelley was born in Marshalltown, Iowa and was raised and resides in Newton. He has a B.A. with honors in communication studies from the University of Iowa.
As of January 2013[update], Kelley serves on several committees in the Iowa House – the Agriculture, Environmental Protection, and Ways and Means committees. He also serves as the ranking member of the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee. Kelley was first elected in 2011, replacing incumbent Democrat Paul Bell as the Democratic nominee after Bell's death.[1]
Kelley endorsed Martin O'Malley in the 2016 Presidential Election.[2]
