GBLA-6 is a constituency of Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly which was represented by Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan of Pakistan Muslim League N. After appointment of Mir Ghazanfar, the political seat of the constituency became empty.[1] Earlier Election commission decided for bi-election to be held on 28th May 2016. The decision was ruled out by Gilgit-Baltistan Supreme appellate court and the elections are postponed for a period of three weeks.[2]
