Colonel Charles Ernest Randolph Mackesy CMG, CBE, DSO, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , (9 January 1861 – 20 November 1925) was a New Zealand farmer, military leader and real estate agent. He was born in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland on 9 January 1861.[1]
He unsuccessfully contested the 1899 election in the Marsden electorate.[2][3]
He commanded the Auckland Mounted Rifles Regiment during the First World War.[1]
