Chapil
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
Chapil is a traditional Colombian alcoholic beverage that originated in the area of Nariño.[1] It is also produced in provinces adjacent to the Carchi border area between Colombia and Ecuador. Chapil is often also used to prepare canelazos. The drink is thought by the Awa people to ward off evil spirits.[2]
