Bastam Citadel

Bastam (Persian: بسطام‎‎) is the site of an ancient Urartian citadel from ca. the 7th century BC, located in modern northwestern Iran. On August 9, 2007, it was proposed to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[1]
