Baron Greenhill

°Baron Greenhill, of Townhead in the City of Glasgow, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1950 for Ernest Greenhill, a former member of the Glasgow Corporation. His elder son, the second Baron, was Professor of Community Medicine at the University of Alberta in Canada. As of 2013[update] the title is held by the latter's younger brother, the third Baron, who succeeded in 1989. He previously worked for the UK Ministry of Defence as a patent attorney.
