Bahaa Hariri (Arabic: بهاء الحريري) (born 1966) is the eldest son of assassinated former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, brother of former Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri and a billionaire. As of 2011 his wealth was estimated at $2.5 billion, making him the 459th richest person in the world.[1]
Education and career
Bahaa Hariri received a bachelor's degree from Boston University in 1990 and soon thereafter returned to Saudi Arabia to work in his family’s construction and development company, Saudi Oger, Ltd. In 2008, he was separated from his family's business and now runs his own real estate and investment vehicle from Switzerland.[1] He is also the chairman of the Al-Abdali Project in Jordan.[2]
Hariri founded the property development company Horizon Group.[3]
