Bacha Khan University (Pashto: باچا خان پوهنتون) (Urdu: جامعہ باچاخان) is a public university situated in Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, named after Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan).[1] The University in Charsadda was founded on 3 July 2012 with the mission to advance knowledge and learning through quality research and education for Pakistan.[1]
Terrorist attack

On 20 January 2016, terrorists attacked the Bacha Khan university and killed 19 students, teachers and security guards and also inflicted injury on at least 60 persons.[2]
