Datuk Hajjah Azizah Mohd Dun (born 27 March 1955) is Sabah's State Minister for Community Development and Consumer Affairs.[1]

Political career
Fight against child and women abuse
Azizah strongly opposed child and women abuse. During her candidacy, she organised seminar, talks and action plans to combat domestic crimes involving children and women.[2] She also alerted the people of Malaysia on the rise of child abuses cases and strongly urged that crimes against infants, toddlers and children must be stopped. She also added that children and women should not be subjected to domestic or any kind of violence.[3]
Azizah Mohd Dun is also the one who initiated the state committee to co-ordinate women's activity in line with the nation 1 Malaysia program. The action taken by Azizah was considered as a benchmark for all women based program in the state of Sabah. The co-ordination of these programs shall enhance Sabah's 10 years plan which includes more women in the decision making process.[4]
Support for the disabled
Azizah stated that she personally applaud Kota Kinabalu Mayor for providing more facility to people who have special needs. The movement made by the Mayor was said to have been a good contribution to the state and Azizah was one of the key political leaders in Sabah who supported the move by the Mayor. In recent development, with the help from the state government. Sabah will become one of the most friendly town for disabled people in Malaysia.[5]

Azizah Mohd Dun will be facing Lajim Ukin, former UMNO strongman who leaped to PKR in the 13th general election. Azizah was the seat holder for Klias. She changed her seat candidacy to be able to face off her former colleague in the Beaufort parliamentary seat.
