The 2001 Kids' Choice Awards is the 14th Kids' Choice Awards ceremony. It is hosted by Rosie O'Donnell at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California on April 21, 2001 and is broadcast live on Nickelodeon. In Space-themed, Tom Cruise and *N'Sync were slimed; 100 kids in the audience are slimed in the biggest sliming ever.[1] Backstreet Boys, Destiny's Child, Aaron Carter, and Lil' Bow Wow performed.

- Tom Cruise-After accepting the Wannabe Award, O'Donnell asked him to slime the mystery celebrity at the end of the show, and had him press a button to do so. The slime ended up falling on him, much to his surprise and enjoyment.
