Designed by Tabanlıoğlu Architects, Istanbul Sapphire (2006–2011) is currently the tallest building in Turkey and 4th tallest in Europe.

İstanbul Modern (2004) is the first contemporary art museum in Turkey.[1] It was originally a warehouse building on the Bosphorus.

Atatürk Cultural Center (1969–1977) at Taksim Square is considered an important example of Turkish architecture from the 1960s.[3]
