Râmnicelu is a commune located in Brăila County, Romania. It has four villages: Boarca, Constantineşti, Mihail Kogălniceanu and Râmnicelu.
It was in Ion Sion, part of Râmnicelu, that on 10 August 1951, Romania's hottest temperature on record, 44.5 °C (112.1 °F), was observed.[2]
